It’s Official! Today, the House of Representatives passed the “Job Protection and Recession Prevention Act of 2012,” or “fiscal cliff” bill that the Senate passed last night at 1:58 a.m. ET. This shows how the Republicans in the House just voted away their dignity and everything for which they stand.

Speaker of the House John Boehner

First, let’s just talk about the bill. It lets the tax rate expire for those making more than$450,000.That goes against every Republican demand and the Republican tax pledge. The pledge says that a Republican will never, ever vote raise taxes on anyone, period. The bill also fails to cut spending, at all! It only delays for two months the across-the-board spending cuts which will come from defense and domestic programs.

The bill is a complete list of Democrat demands. There is nothing in the bill that is supported by Republicans. The only thing that Republicans supported and that was also in the bill was the extension of the Bush tax cuts for the middle class (something which both sides already agreed on). As a result, this bill fails to meet any Republican requirements. Yet, it passed.

Here are a few bits that don’t fit, but I think you should know:

1. According to the Congressional Budget Office, the “fiscal cliff” bill will actually end up adding $4 trillion over a decade to federal deficits. Does that seem like a Republican sensible solution? No.

2. If you were wondering why a spending bill originated in the Senate and not the House, @Brithume was your answer:

The Senate cliff bill is a massive amendment to a House-passed bill, thus complying with Const. prov. that House must originate tax bills.—
Brit Hume (@brithume) January 01, 2013

3. Breaking with Rep. Boehner, Rep. Eric Cantor (R-Va.) and Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) voted “no” on the bill. Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wisc.), however, voted “yea.” @EWErickson has this to say:

Thus ends the Paul Ryan 2016 Presidential Exploratory Committee.—
Erick Erickson (@EWErickson) January 02, 2013

4. Here is a list of the House Republicans who voted for the bill:

View this document on Scribd

Now, at this point, there are a few things I want to hit:

The first is the fact that the GOP caved, again. The Republicans have been caving when it comes to any crisis lately. Whenever faced with a crisis, the Republicans cave. During their campaigns, they campaign on going to Washington to deal with the tough issues. Where was that tonight? Where was the new, strong GOP that I asked for in this letter? They are nowhere to be found. Republicans talk a good game, but when it comes to voting, they cave every time. They cave because they are either spineless or on some level don’t believe their own ideology. Had the Republicans grown a backbone tonight and voted “no”, they could have molded it into a better piece of legislation or made a whole new one. However, they didn’t. They lied down like peasants before a king to do the king’s wish. They have become the party of caving.

That begs the question, “What is the difference between Republicans and Democrats?” Historically, you always knew that a Republican would never, ever vote to raise your taxes. Ever! Now, they have broken that pledge. They have violated the one true identifier of the party. And if Republicans are willing to cave to a strictly Democrat bill now, what will they cave on later? Are the Republicans bent to continue caving whenever faced with adversity? Is that the future of the GOP? It might as well be! There is not a difference now. Republicans tonight went down and passed a bill that was top to bottom Democrat engineered. The Republicans that voted for this bill voted for a piece of Democrat legislation, and if you vote like a Democrat, you might be a Democrat. In fact, people should see to it that every person that voted for this bill is primaried and not elected to another term in office. Don’t have an (R) by the end of your name if you can’t honor the one basic thing that the (R) stands for: not raising taxes, period.

The fact is that with this vote, the Republicans have made sure there is no difference in the two parties in Washington. To a voter, the Republicans have just aligned themselves with the Democrats. I guess we do only have one party ruling in Washington. Also if a voter thinks that the Republicans are really just the Democrats in disguise, doesn’t that mean our chances of winning back the Senate in 2014 just dropped to about zero? It’s rhetorical. Of course, it’s going to severely hurt our chances in 2014. It will also hurt us in 2016. This vote will have lasting effects for the party.

This bill also falls on the fact that Boehner has failed as Speaker of the House. He has not adequately negotiated with this bill. In fact, there wasn’t ANY negotiating with this bill. The Senate sent the House the list of everything the Democrats wanted, and the House passed it. The House didn’t even try to amend the bill. They negotiated nothing. It’s time for weepy John Boehner to go. However if the Republicans stay on their current path, they won’t have the backbone to oust Boehner come the vote on his speakership because, once again, they are spineless, and they don’t want to upset anyone.

The vote tonight gave the President and Democrats the okay to continue their spending rampage. The Democrats are spending one trillion dollars every year. With the passage of this bill, the Democrats will get the idea that we will allow them to get away with whatever extremely excessive amount of money they want to spend. We just sent the message to the Democrats that we are spineless and will bend to do whatever they want.

Imagine the cost on the future generations of America. Like I said before, this bill tells to Democrats to just keep on going with their spending (without a budget for the last four years!). If they continue their spending rampage, where will that leave us as a nation? By 2016, what does that put our debt? 20 trillion dollars? Doesn’t that seem, I don’t know, incredibly insane? It does to me, and House Republicans just gave Democrats the thumbs up to keep going. This debt will come down on your children, their children, and their children. This is going to be a multi-generational debt, and House Republicans just gave Democrats the okay to do it.

Also, there won’t be ANY spending cuts in the bill. The automatic spending cuts are being delayed for two months. However, the Democrats will no doubt try to take that time to make sure they don’t happen. As I said, one of the things Republicans had to get out of this debate was spending cuts. They got none. They have failed.

I want to talk about Paul Ryan. Paul Ryan voted IN FAVOR of the bill. I once again agree with @EWErickson in saying, “Thus ends the Paul Ryan 2016 Presidential Exploratory Committee”.

Due to what I have listed before, it is a tragedy to learn that Paul Ryan voted for the bill. I’ll be honest. I liked Paul Ryan a great deal. However, he just gave Democrats the thumbs up in saying that they can continue on their spending rampage. That is unacceptable. Sorry Paul, but Paul Ryan is out for me in the 2016 race.

After all the doom and gloom speak I have given, it’s time for some things we can do. The first thing we can do is call up every person who voted for this bill and give them an earful. I can guarantee that Sen. Roy Blunt (R-MO) is going to get many a call from me because he voted for the bill, and he is my Senator. We can call every single person who voted for this bill and inform them that they are essentially morons. If you are really ticked off, as I am, you can see to it that your representative is replaced by someone else during the primary. That is what I meant when you “primary” someone. You make sure that they are not the Republican candidate. Second, we can also hold the Republicans feet to the fire. We can call in every time there is an issue coming up in Washington. You don’t let them get away with this. You hold their feet to the fire, and if they still don’t listen, replace them with someone who will. The race for 2014 and 2016 starts now. Votes like these aren’t helping. Only you and I can help our party. The battle starts now. Go.

As you may know, last night, January 1st 2013, the Senate passed a bill which “averts” the Fiscal Cliff. However, the bill goes against everything Republicans have been asking for. It raises taxes on those making $450,000 or more. It also delays ANY spending cuts for two months. The bill is exactly what the Democrats wanted and barely anything the Republicans wanted.

Today, the House will meet. It is expected that they will vote on the measure. That is why this article is being written. This is going to be more of a letter to House Republicans.

Dear House Republicans,

You are the final stand. Today, Harry Reid and the Democrats passed a measure which goes against what Republicans want and need to get out of this debate. Your Republican counterparts in the Senate have failed you. They have voted for a measure which was in essence a completely Democrat favored bill. The only thing it contains upon which both sides agree is the continuation of the current tax rate for the middle class.

However, the majority of the bill does not stand with Republican ideals. It delays spending cuts for two months, and it lets taxes go up on people making $450,000 or more. The bill is not a Republican bill. It is a completely Democrat bill. That is why I am asking you to vote “no” on this bill.

You may feel as though you must vote “yes” because the Democrats finally sent you a bill on which to vote. However, what about all the bills you sent to the Senate? What about the countless bills you have sent the Senate that STILL haven’t been acted on? If you’re feeling pushed into voting “yes” simply because a bill came to you from the Senate, wouldn’t you think the Senate would feel the same? However, they don’t. The Senate hasn’t voted on many of the bills that you have sent it, and they have voted on none of the Fiscal Cliff bills you sent them. They haven’t passed a budget in four years even though you sent them a budget. So please, just because the Senate sent you a bill, doesn’t mean you have to vote “yes” on it.

You may also want to vote “yes” because it’s the only plan from Democrats so far. However, why would you jump at the first thing you get? Just because they sent you a bill doesn’t mean you have to vote “yes”. You have sent bill after bill to the Senate, and they have done nothing. You sent them many bills to avert this cliff. They voted on none of them. You took the initiative. You passed the bills first. The Senate has done nothing. You have no reason to vote ‘yes” on this bill.

You may want to vote for the bill because the media will push you into voting “yes”, but that doesn’t mean that you should. The media has never and will never be on our side. The media will most likely go out and say “Senate passes Fiscal Cliff deal, but will the House pass it too?”. The media will try to make it look like you’ve done nothing, and that the Democrats were the first side to send any bills. In fact, you sent the Senate plenty of bills to avert this thing before today. You don’t have to be bullied into voting “yes”.

Democrats have always use bully tactics. Today, they are probably going to use the media and the White House to perpetuate the lie that the Senate was first to create a Fiscal Cliff proposal. They weren’t. You were. Don’t be bullied into voting “yes” on this bill.

However, I haven’t mentioned why you shouldn’t vote for it as a Republican. This bill is not a Republican friendly bill. When you assumed office, you took a pledge to never raise taxes, ever. In fact, it is the one thing that can ALWAYS be the identifying factor of the Republican party. If you vote for a Republican, you know they will never, ever vote to raise your taxes. So, if you vote yes on this bill, you are breaking the pledge that you made to the people who elected you. Also, the one thing that Republicans keep asking for are some spending cuts. This bill doesn’t do that. It simply postpones cuts for two months probably in hopes that Democrats can stop those cuts from happening. The simple fact is that this bill isn’t a Republican friendly bill, and it goes against what we stand for. We said that after November 6th we needed to have some serious changes to the party. This is the time. This is the time to stand up for no new taxes and to stand up to voice the need for spending cuts. It is your time to take charge of your party and vote “no” on this bill.

I’m not sure what Speaker Boehner’s opinion on this bill will be. He already tried “Plan B”, but he knew he did not have enough votes so he pulled the bill. Now, if he thinks that the House should pass this bill from the Senate, you will have to disagree with him. That might be hard. However, you know that what you are doing is the correct thing for you, your party, and your country. You will have to go against the Speaker if he says you should pass the bill. However, it is my hope that you stay true to your pledge and vote “no”.

I am so adamant about this issue because I am a 15-year-old American. I will be the bearer of the debt that we are creating. I will be part of the generation that has to pay off the 16.4 trillion dollar debt that we have. Yet, that debt is growing by the second. We are becoming more and more in debt. This is not just an issue for Washington today. It’s an issue for our nation for generations. This debt will be carried on by my generation, my children, my children’s children, and their children’s children. This is a debt that we’re getting stuck with for generations. We are also faced with an out of control ballooning Federal Government. However, there are no spending cuts in this bill to deal with that either. The fact is that all the bad things happening in Washington now are coming down on me and my children. I ask you to vote “no” on this bill and work for no new taxes, smaller government, and solutions to the problems we face.

You are the last stand. You are the final battle in this Fiscal Cliff debate. Unless you make any changes to the bill, it will be, if you pass it, sent straight to the President and be enacted into law. You are the last chance to stop taxes going up because of this debate. You are the last battle. You have to be the new Republican Party. We said that after November 6th we were going to need to change our Party. Today is the day to start. Today is the day to stand up for the pledge you made. Today is the day to stand up for your beliefs. Today is the day to not get bullied into voting “yes” on a bill on which you know you should vote “no”. As I said before, you are the final stand. You must stand up for what you know is right, no matter what the media says, or what the president says, or what Democrats say, or anyone. You should listen to what you know is right and what you made a pledge to do. Today is the day to stand strong and vote “no” on this bill. You can do it. The only thing you have to do is vote but one time.

You are the last battle. You are the last chance. You are the final stand. Please, make your decision wisely.

Sincerely,

David Bader

It’s official. Today, January 1st, 2013, the Senate just finished passing a bill that “averts the fiscal cliff”. This post was at first to be a letter to Republicans in the House of Representatives However, with the passing of the Senate bill, it seems to me that this article needs to be written.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV)

It seems like a victory for the nation, right? It seems as though the Senate has passed a bill to save us all! However, the bill breaks every Republican demand in this debate. The Senate bill does extend the current tax rate (commonly referred to as the Bush Tax Cuts) for people who make less than $450,000. However, that goes against every Republican demand and the tax pledge. The pledge says that a Republican will never, ever vote raise taxes on anyone, period Tonight, the only people who voted against the measure were Carper D-DE, Harkin D-IA, Bennet D-CO, Lee R-UT, Paul R-KY, Rubio R-FL, Shelby R-AL and Grassley R-IA. The rest of the Senate (including the other Republicans) voted for the measure. Essentially, the other Republicans just voted away the one thing a Republican can always say, “I will never vote to raise taxes”. The Senate bill also fails to cut spending, at all! The bill only delays for two months the across-the-board spending cuts which will come from defense and domestic programs. However, didn’t Republicans said that in order to even consider raising taxes (which they shouldn’t) Democrats had to cut spending? Yet, Senate Republicans just voted for a bill with no spending cuts and that raises taxes. Basically, Senate Republicans (with the exception of Lee, Paul, Shelby, Rubio, and Grassley) just passed EVERYTHING the Democrats wanted. There was nothing in the bill that Republicans supported except making sure taxes were the same for the middle class which we something agreed upon already.

Senate Republicans (with the exceptions) have failed us. It’s up to the House of Representatives to be our last stand.

Here are the pictures of the Senators who voted against the bill:

FROM THE AP:

Democrats have changed their convention platform to add a mention of God and declare that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel.

The move came after criticism from Republicans.

Many in the audience booed after the convention chairman, Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, ruled that the amendments had been approved despite the fact that a large group of delegates objected.

He called for a vote three times before ruling.

The party reinstated language from the 2008 platform that said “we need a government that stands up for the hopes, values and interests of working people and gives everyone willing to work hard the chance to make the most of their God-given potential.”

The platform also now includes what advisers said was Obama’s personal views on Jerusalem.

Today, we do not have leaders who act as parents, but as irresponsible teenagers. Today’s politicians like Barack Obama, Harry Reid, et al govern like teenagers. They spend without giving a heed to how much money they have to spend. They govern like teenagers.

We must ask ourselves, “how did this happen?” How did we go from “the greatest generation” to a generation that wants as much free stuff as possible and wants a government to dictate everything to them? Schools.

You see, before 1960, everyone was everyone else’s parent. Everyone looked out for everybody, and when World War I and II came about we put aside the problems and bickering and fought Germany and Japan. We learned to come together. We worked through the depression and poverty to rise up to be the greatest and most powerful nation on the face of the Earth. We came together because we looked out for each other.

In the early 1960′s that philosophy started to change. We stopped saying the pledge of allegiance school and started pushing for more government programs. We pushed for more spending. We started pushing for more government.

The leaders of today are the exact results of what started in 1960. Instead of everyone looking out for everyone, instead of everyone being a parent, we have seen the parties split. The Republicans remain the parents as they were before. The Republicans ask “If we extend the debt limit, you have to show us that you have a plan to cut spending long-term” The Democrats haven’t. The Democrats are the teenagers in this relationship. In another analogy, the parent says that they will give the teenager money as long as the teenager can pay it back. That’s not what Democrats are doing today. They are spending more than they can pay back and they know it. The Democrats of today are the result of those ideals in the 60′s.

Democrats are like teenagers. They only think of the present. Republicans and Democrats are like the fable of the Ant and the Grasshopper:

Once there lived an ant and a grasshopper in a grassy meadow.

All day long the ant would work hard, collecting grains of wheat from the farmer’s field far away. She would hurry to the field every morning, as soon as it was light enough to see by, and toil back with a heavy gr

ain of wheat balanced on her head. She would put the grain of wheat carefully away in her larder, and then hurry back to the field for another one. All day long she would work, without stop or rest, scurrying back and forth from the field, collecting the grains of wheat and storing them carefully in her larder.

The grasshopper would look at her and laugh. ‘Why do you work so hard, dear ant?’ he would say. ‘Come, rest awhile, listen to my song. Summer is here, the days are long and bright. Why waste the sunshine in labour and toil?’

The ant would ignore him, and head bent, would just hurry to the field a little faster. This would make the grasshopper laugh even louder. ‘What a silly little ant you are!’ he would call after her. ‘Come, come and dance with me! Forget about work! Enjoy the summer! Live a little!’ And the grasshopper would hop away across the meadow, singing and dancing merrily.

Summer faded into autumn, and autumn turned into winter. The sun was hardly seen, and the days were short and grey, the nights long and dark. It became freezing cold, and snow began to fall.

The grasshopper didn’t feel like singing any more. He was cold and hungry.

He had nowhere to shelter from the snow, and nothing to eat. The meadow and the farmer’s field were covered in snow, and there was no food to be had. ‘Oh what shall I do? Where shall I go?’ wailed the grasshopper. Suddenly he remembered the ant. ‘Ah – I shall go to the ant and ask her for food and shelter!’ declared the grasshopper, perking up. So off he went to the ant’s house and knocked at her door. ‘Hello ant!’ he cried cheerfully. ‘Here I am, to sing for you, as I warm myself by your fire, while you get me some food from that larder of yours!’

The ant looked at the grasshopper and said, ‘All summer long I worked hard while you made fun of me, and sang and danced. You should have thought of winter then! Find somewhere else to sing, grasshopper! There is no warmth or food for you here!’ And the ant shut the door in the grasshopper’s face.

It is wise to worry about tomorrow today.

This is the situation we find ourselves in today. Republicans know we have to make a change. We have to cut back on spending and lower our debt. However, that’s going to include some tough decisions. Entitlement programs are bankrupting us. We have to fix them. That might mean some hard decisions. Fact is, we, Republicans, are the ants. We are trying to prepare and look to the future to make sure our country goes on.

What to the Democrats care about? Just today.

They care about getting their free Obama phones, free housing, or free socialized medicine. Democrats don’t care about tomorrow and making sure the country can continue on.

Let’s talk again why Democrats are like teenagers. When it comes to things like birth control and contraceptives, Democrats are like teenagers. They want to go out and have all the sex they want and be able to get free birth control from the government. NO, no. Live within your means, Democrats. Live with your consequences, Democrats! If you’re going to have sex, get protection first. Don’t ask the government to get it for you. Get it for yourself! If you are unable to get the unnecessary protection, don’t have sex.

Now, do you see Republicans lobbying for free government birth control? No! Because in this relationship, Republicans are like the parents. We have to be. Someone has to stop these out of control teenagers in charge on the White House. However, this hurts our image. Democrats are trying to paint us as people who just don’t “get with it”. Sorry if we don’t want to “get with” bankrupting our nation.

Republicans don’t want to have to be the parents, but if Democrats are going to act like teenagers, someone has to look our for the future of our nation. In short, I have one thing to say to Democrats, “Grow up”.

Today, I wanted to point you to a great article written by Dana Loesch. It was written November 7th, the day after the elections.

In it, she laid out the five things the Republican party did wrong, and the four things they did right. Our problems include: a moderate candidate, messaging, voter turnout, infighting, and a ground game.

I agree with her that election day showed us a lot of things. It showed us that we are a divided America. Today, we need to start our heart-to-heart with our party. If the Republicans can’t change course and start winning elections, I fear the party may stop winning many elections and slowly start to recede. Loesch’s case number one: A Moderate.

1. A Moderate Candidate
Let’s be frank about what happened: we nominated a moderate. We were told to accept it, unite, and move on. Don’t mistake me: Mitt Romney ran a better campaign than we’ve seen in some time and the GOTV coordination with the RNC was impressive. His desire to fix the country seemed heartfelt. We did all we could. We backed him as the strategy that stood the best chance of advancing our goals and we delivered on our end. Unfortunately, moderation doesn’t play well at the polls unless you’re a moderate Republican in northeastern states. The rest of America’s makeup is far different. I have no doubt that Romney would have done well, so much better than Obama in the White House, and he presented a plan for a better American. America just didn’t choose it.

I think “moderate” means something different to me than it does to some Republicans and even progressives. I’m not “moderate” on the power of the government. I’m extremely biased towards the Constitution. If not liking the EPA, the Fed, the UN, or a $14 trillion dollar debt due to out-of-control spending makes me “extreme,” then so be it, just know that it’s an inaccurate use of the term.

Loesch also points out that people who are calling social conservatism the problem are foolish. A candidate with true social conservatism wasn’t on the ballot last on election night. Moderate candidates were. That’s why primary’s are so important. I have met many who have said, “I hate Todd Akin”. I ask, “Did you vote for anyone else in the primary?”. What do they say back? “No”. If you didn’t like Akin, you should have voted for someone else in the primary. Not participating in the primary and then complaining about your choice of candidate is stupid. If you didn’t work in the primary, don’t complain about the general. However, we learn a lesson from Akin. If you don’t like a candidate, get them out in the primary.

The last point Loesch makes is that Democrats made the campaign about small issues. This is a frightening truth. If you could sum up exactly what Democrats ran on, it’s this “Big Bird, bayonets, and birth control”. In the polls, people actually thought Romney would have done a better job with the economy. However, that’s exactly what Democrats tried to avoid. They talked about ANYTHING except the Obama record. They avoided it like the plague. Why? Because they know that the Obama record on the economy is a complete failure. I think this takes us into her next point, messaging.

2. Messaging
Both the GOP and social conservatives have a massive problem with messaging. I can’t lay all of the blame at the feet of the Romney campaign because this is an institutionalized problem within the Republican party: the inability or fear of refining the message of liberty into a more attractive sell. Romney did as best he could, and better than many have but he was still out-spun by the media. I have said, as did my late friend Andrew Breitbart, that the fight this cycle is with the media. The media dropped all pretense of journalism and became an arm of the campaign. This will become even more blatant now. The response of conservatives should be to figuratively go to war with the media.

The GOP has a problem in countering media narratives. They run away from candidates over meaningless soundbites and have an inability to tell the media that they have minorities and women all throughout the party. Social conservatives also have a problem with messaging. Faith isn’t restrictive and should have the benefit of smart outreach which makes it appealing. If social issues are important to you and a big part of your platform, do them the justice of being prepared to speak about them succinctly. If not, you only hurt the very issues for which you claim to care.

Both sides, moderates and social conservatives, will engage in recriminations but must realize this truth: politically, one cannot survive without the other, not right now. Fight together or hang separately.

I have said this to my counterparts all the time. The fight is with the media. The media isn’t objective anymore. They’re not objective at all. The media has become a propaganda wing of the Obama regime. The Republicans have a problem in defending their positions. We have been told for decades and decades and decades that we are “too extreme” (a complete lie), and now, we think they are right! We, as Republicans are giving in to this bullying mentality. We are giving in to this idea that we should just shut up and sit down. However, let me make a point. Democrats are not told to do this. Democrats are told to vote for the biggest Democrat on the stage. I mean look at Obama, a socialist! So, Democrats are told to vote for the “most Democrat” person on the stage. However, what are we told? We’re told to “vote for the least Republican” person on stage. Why are we getting mixed signals? The media. The media is telling us that voting for conservatism is wrong, but voting for socialism is good. How can that make sense if the media is unbiased? Oh wait, that’s the point. They are biased.

Knowing that the media is biased, republicans need to not be afraid to stand up for conservatism. There is nothing wrong with Conservatism. Allow me to repeat that in case you missed the bold and underline, there is nothing wrong with Conservatism. However, the media tells us that there is. It’s our job to stop listening to the media bias. I don’t even like to listen to mainstream media anymore. I use “new-media”. I use Breitbart.com, the Drudge Report, the Blaze, and CNS news. However, that doesn’t mean the Republican fight with the traditional media ends. Most people don’t use new media. That’s why we have to expand our base. The problem is that certain voters (usually Democrats) are the product of 25-35 years of schooling by the NEA. They have been listening to left wing pabulum from every major network plus CNN. Hollywood has been bashing Republicans for a while now. When all that combines, you have a problem. However, it is more complex. Just “messaging” will not work with these people as they are not exposed to the message. Ever. They talk among themselves and read the same blogs or papers. They watch the big Networks, except Fox News. They exist in a Progressive kind of echo chamber as they watch or listen to select left wing stances regurgitated. Even when handed clear facts like Benghazi or Fast and Furious, they say it is not news and ignore it. Why? These voters may not care, or they may just vote emotionally, but I doubt it is the real problem. It is much more likely they cannot take it seriously as it conflicts with their aforementioned echo chamber mentality-so they dismiss it.

I think another question is, “how do we solve the indoctrinated voter problem?” The answer is to go to the root and solve this in the long term and short term. The long term route is to attack the education system rife with left wing teachers. Conservatives should run for every local School Board election they can find. Everywhere. Once in, they must push back at the left wingers in the system. They must insist on Constitution classes and teaching REAL American History. Conservatives should insist on actual business people who have really started companies teaching classes. But overall, the goal should be to retake the schools. People were busy working while teachers were indoctrinating. Now, those kids who have been indoctrinated are voting. More parents need to pay attention to what their kids are learning..or not learning.

Short term and long term the next points are critical:

1) Control the newspapers! Normal people and people like Sheldon Adelson or the Koch brothers along with Karl Rove etc. should first target the Left wing newspapers in every major “blue” area of any swing State noted in either the 2008 or 2012 election, purchase it if unnecessary I think some people assume that Newspapers are a dying, useless breed. They are wrong. Papers are the source stock for a huge chunk of the news that hits the Networks or the Internet during campaigns. Control the source!

2) Newspapers play an incredibly important role in shaping the local elections from City Mayors, County Reps, State Reps, Governors , Congressman, and Senators. Taking a currently left wing paper and flipping it conservative helps control School Boards, protects Religious Freedom, and drives discussions of a conservative agenda in the media locally. ( How many times do you see the local ABC, CBS and NBC stations lead with a story from the Post Dispatch? A lot!)

3) KEY: The local newspaper ALSO changes the base line educational point of view of these indoctrinated voters we must reach! How many guys are sitting in a barbershop in a large urban area talking about the news on the Internet? Not many. They usually are reading the paper and commenting on the stories therein. They are seeing it every day. And EVERY DAY it changes their mindset because the stories on that front page are now about jobs and lower taxes-why it works, self reliance, respect for life, respect for capitalism and respect for America etc.

If the St. Louis Post Dispatch were conservative do you really think Jay Nixon would be the Governor , or Charlie Dooley the County Exec? Do you honestly believe Claire McCaskill would have defeated Jim Talent the first time around? Not even close! Missouri would already be a “Right to Work” State with a conservative newspapers! I wonder if any of those Chrysler plant workers want to consider that fact? The articles and thrust of newspaper stories for years prior to those elections would have negated any chance these socialists win. The same can be said regarding National elections. Educate enough voters in these blue urban areas and the State flips red. Very few States are required to change the National election outcome. And please do not sit there claiming we have “Journalistic integrity”. You are being naïve. The Left spouts that garbage to keep Conservatives from taking over these papers. It’s time to stop playing nice.

3. Voter Turnout
Republican voter turnout was less than it was in 2004 and 2008. John McCain took 60 million votes and Romney took 57 million votes. It was a battle of freedom vs free stuff. More people voted for Obama than Romney. They voted for his vision over Romney’s vision. The country is no longer culturally cohesive. Bad messaging does nothing to fix this.

Barack Obama won a very divided America in a very close race. The result isn’t so much a mandate as it is two very ticked off sides voting to thwart the other side’s agenda.

I think that people got tired of all of the ads, the gridlock, and the fighting. As a result, they just stayed home. Romney got 3 million less people to vote. However, you would think that in an election as important as this one, more people would vote, not less. I think this goes back to that issue of how the GOP handles the media. People just see bad things about the Republicans in the media and decide it’s not even worth voting. As I said, it all comes back to the media.

4. Infighting

During the primaries, fighting is expected. It’s encouraged. We all benefit when people battle it out to select the best candidate, provided we remember that we all have to work together again after. Unfortunately, there were a few races where infighting played a role in defeat. One of those races was the Indiana senate race, Richard Mourdock verses Joe Donnelly. I watched as Dick Lugar supporters for months trashed the Republican candidate and this did hurt Mourdock in the end.

There were individuals who, due to unhappiness with the candidates represented, inadvertently worked against them. I’m more inclined to take seriously the criticisms of people who, instead of sitting on their backsides and complaining, actually took to the ground to change hearts and minds and work the culture to change the candidate. The candidate is a reflection of the people who voted for him. Someone has to vote and choose a candidate for us to have one. Too many people focus on the politics and not the culture. If you wait until an election cycle to change things, you’re too late. An election is merely a measurement of change. If you haven’t yet, I encourage you to check out my monologue on changing the culture.

And finally,

5. Ground Game
It is very difficult to come out of a bitter primary and match your opponent when your opponent was shoring up his foundation while you fought it out in said primary. We vetted Mitt Romney better than the media vetted Barack Obama.

Dana Loesch isn’t one to leave you on a sad note. Here are the four things that we did right and went our way:

1. We Control The House

We control it and we even picked up seats. Democrats fell short in the senate of the 60 votes they need to implement Obama’s agenda without care. We retain the ability to slow the roll of legislative progressivism. Compromise isn’t compromise when the issue is modifying the enumerated powers of government. Compromise in that instance is surrender. I don’t want a country where everyone gets along and where everyone has to agree. We benefit the most when people fight to give us the best.

We still have the House of Representatives. Thus, we can still block legislation from going to the president. We will make sure not to compromise on our values. We can cancel out the senate. However, in the senate, Democrats didn’t get that wanted “super-majority” they wanted. If the Democrats had 60 seats they could “implement Obama’s agenda without care”. Now, they have a majority, but there is a fight to be had.

2. More Republican Governors
As the ballots are counted we will have picked up 32 governorships, a record unmatched since the 90s. The fight of the reform governor not only succeeded, it spread. This is the biggest and I believe most important story of this election. Governors have already stood their ground against the implementation of Obamacare and now the chance of more doing so has increase as a result of this election. Rick Perry is suing the EPA. Consider it a plan B in the offense against Obamacare.

Obamacare is going to be decided in the states. You have more than half of the country, 32 states, with Republicans are governor They will fight the implementation of Obamacare in their state. That means more than half of the country will reject Obamacare in their state.

3. No Clear Mandate
Barack Obama barely won the popular vote. The country is roughly divided 50-50. Congress is divided. There is no mandate, only gridlock.

Obama won, but by the hair of his chinny, chin, chin. When we say he won, he barely won. That means that when Obama says he has a “clear mandate” to raise taxes, he doesn’t. He just wants to think that he does.

4. We Live To Fight Another Day
I said this last night and it’s somewhat harsh, but accurate: those of you who want to take your balls and go home are demonstrating less resilience than our Founding Fathers. That’s not who you are, it’s not what America is, so buck up buttercups!

We have scored some small victories last night and that’s something on which we can build. Midterms will give us another shot at the senate in two years. Two years after that, the White House. This battle wasn’t going to begin and end in one election cycle. This will be a multi-generational fight. The Framers established our system of governance in such a way so that one election, not even two, can dismantle our republic.

There is still hope and still a battle to fight. Don’t squander your chances. Nurse your wounds and get back in the game.

My parents voted for Todd Akin after supporting John Brunner in the primary. Akin was not their first choice, but he was the better alternative to Claire McCaskill.

McCaskill was the deciding vote for ObamaCare. She has supported Obama’s tax and spend agenda relentlessly. She has used the Senate dining Room to broker deals for her husband to the tune of 40 million dollars. She did not pay taxes on her plane. She specifically said “I hate coal” even though Missouri is the 6th leading state in coal usage. She supports gay marriage in opposition to the majority of Missourians. She supports abortion rights. If you are a Catholic and voted for her you might as well open an abortion clinic. Next time you are at Mass, try thinking about what you have done.

Todd Akin made an idiotic comment-true. His staff and he handled this about as poorly as possible from a PR standpoint. Frankly, I think he should have dropped out of the race. However, after the deadline pasted for him to drop out, the GOP should have started supporting him again. Instead, they hung him out to dry. Thanks to Roy Blunt, John Danforth, Jim Talent, John Ashcroft, and Mitt. Akin has left with no support and open to a barrage of negative advertising from McCaskill. This critical moment he was cut loose he should, and could, have resigned for the good of the Party and the country. He chose to be stubborn and Missouri has paid for it-so has the United States. Utterly incompetent to the end.

For those of you who think this a good outcome, well you are the fools. Yes, Todd Akin will never win another race in Missouri. You guaranteed that, and he deserves it. You also have guaranteed your children each have a debt exceeding $ 180,000.00. You guaranteed a Healthcare system that will cost you more money and jobs but, more importantly, will take the care for women ( and everyone else) and put decisions in the government’s hands, not yours or your doctors. Can’t wait to hear you complain about that one! You guaranteed higher taxes and slower growth. You guaranteed businesses will ship jobs overseas to lower tax countries like Canada. In short, you have sent the country down a path of economic decline. To put it bluntly, you screwed us all royally but we don’t realize it yet.

All you Democrats should be thrilled. Your idiot won reelection. You have re-elected a man and Administration who have destroyed our economy, taken over 1/6 of our Economy via Healthcare, put us 16 trillion in debt, allowed Iran to reach Nuclear weapon stage, and driven business out of the U.S. with tax policy. However, it will get worse. Adding to that, Obama essentially murdered four men in Benghazi. But, hey, that isn’t important to a Democrat! You have created a society where those too incompetent to be successful vote to take from those who work hard and have the brains to succeed.

As a result, I must fire seven people with families to afford ObamaCare according to my accountants. I also will not be buying the two new trucks I need. I need to use the money for compliance auditing for ObamaCare as well. I will not be investing in anything that isn’t tax free. Thus, lessening what would be available for the government to take in the future.

It is now time to start winning local elections and fighting tooth and nail to take back education in the country. We have to start where this society is failing. Teachers on the whole are instilling a frightening dependence on government in our children. It’s time to fight back every day at your local level.

It is also time to stop supporting people who hate business, inflict taxes and regulations while creating nothing on their own. I urge all conservative business owners to refrain from hiring a known liberal Democrat. For those of us forced to incur costs to implement ObamaCare I urge you to first terminate any liberal Democrats you have working for you. I noted above I had to fire seven people. I am going to fire only Democrats where possible. Please join me. Why support people who hurt your business? It is crazy!

In the Obama For America ad ”Mitt Romney’s Easy Five-Step Approach to Foreign Policy”, they said that the first step was:

1. Get the facts wrong”.

OFA claims Romney lied about claiming President Obama hadn’t called the attack in Benghazi a terrorist attack. However, my article debunked that statement.

There you have it. Obama and the Administration lied. They lied to you and me, and they lied in front of the United Nations. Truth is that the attack in our consulate in Benghazi was premeditated and an act of terror. Why did this administration claim it was a movie that did it? Why did they blame our free speech in America instead of putting blame on who really did it, terrorists? I’m not sure.

So, when you see Mr. Obama in his debate on Monday, I want you to know he told you a blatant lie in the Rose Garden, he lied to you for two weeks, and then, he finally told the truth after being caught in his lie. A man who lies for two weeks and lies in front of the United Nations is not a man who should be leading us.

2. “Undermine long-standing relationships with your allies”

They use Romney’s trip to Britain as the example. I guess no one told OFA that Mitt Romney was actually quoting a newspaper when he said that he didn’t think England was ready for the Olympics. He himself didn’t really mean what the media made it look like he said.

Also, if we’re really talking about undermining long-standing relationships with your allies, what about when Obama called Nazi death camps, “Polish death camps” or when Obama said he wanted to put “daylight” between the US and Israel? That doesn’t sound like creating good relationships with your long-standing allies to me!

3. Frequently highlight your lack of experience

Wrong again. While the video does show clips of Romney saying that he has to consult with others, he himself does not say he cannot handle foreign policy. He just makes sure to check with people who have been doing it longer than he has to make sure he is in the right place. Since when is it wrong to check with others to make sure you’re alright?

If OFA really wants to show someone’s lack of experience why don’t we start with the president. besides the “polish death camps” and Israel comment mentioned earlier, look at the middle east. It’s a mess. Iran is growing closer to bomb if they don’t already have one. Egypt has been taken over by the Muslim Brotherhood who wants to impose Sharia Law and name Jerusalem the new capital of Egypt. Who can we thank? Barack Obama.

4. Assemble a team of ideologues committed to war

“Committed to war”? Really? Just because you have Bush advisers doesn’t mean much of anything. However, when your Secretary of the Treasury hasn’t paid his own taxes, you have more czars than ever before, and the State Department lied to the American people for two weeks, I think that’s a bit more!

5. Mistake your enemies

“Russia…is our number one geopolitical foe”. Now is that the best statement? No. However, who is our biggest foe now? I’d vote for Iran. Now who has been blocking sanctions on Iran? Russia. Who has been given arms to Iran? Russia. Who has been given lots of money to Iran? Russia. While Russia might not be number one, they are not helping us, but helping our enemies. Russia remains a foe in 2012.

Again, let’s get an Obama comparison! Obama hasn’t really seen anyone as our foe. Why, he started his term with an apology tour in the middle east!

The video ends with a rather passive aggressive remark of, “Follow these easy steps, and your foreign policy is sure to get results” and “Mitt Romney’s blunders prove he’s just not ready to lead”.

Really OFA? Because the Obama foreign policy was led to an almost nuclear Iran (if they don’t already have a bomb) and the rest of the middle east in flames. Yes, I’m sure the Obama foreign policy is going quite well, **eyeroll**.

A man like Barack Obama who has failed us in so many ways including foreign policy just isn’t ready for a second term. Vote Mitt Romney 2012.

In Tuesday’s presidential debate, Governor Mitt Romney claimed President Obama didn’t declare Benghazi a terrorist attack the day after it happened. Romney claims the president waited two weeks before finally admitting it. Romney is…right.

Romney said, “Because it took the president 14 days before he called the attack in Benghazi a terrorist attack”.

Following, Candy Crawley, the moderator, said, ”He (Obama) did call it(the attacks) an act of terror”. However, later, Crawley took back her statement, “I think actually, you know, because right after that, I did turn to Romney and said you were totally correct but they spent two weeks telling us that this was about a tape and that there was this riot outside of the Benghazi consulate, which there wasn’t.”

Obama tried to claim Romney was wrong during the debate. Obama said that we should, “Look at the transcript” to show Romney had lied, and that Obama did call the attack an act of terror.

However, when we look at the transcript, Obama said, “Our country is only as strong as the character of our people and the service of those both civilian and military who represent us around the globe,” he said. “No acts of terror will ever shake the resolve of this great nation, alter that character, or eclipse the light of the values that we stand for. Today we mourn four more Americans who represent the very best of the United States of America. We will not waver in our commitment to see that justice is done for this terrible act. And make no mistake, justice will be done.” Obama had not called the attacks in Libya a terrorist attack. He had been talking about 9/11 before what I just showed you. The only time Obama talked about terrorism in his Rose Garden address was when we was talking about 9/11/ Therefore, Obama did not declare the attack a terrorist attack the day after it happened.

American Crossroads has a great ad out called, ‘Act of Terror”. Let’s take a look:

After the attack, Jay Carney, Hillary Clinton, UN Ambassador Rice, and even Obama himself called the attack caused by a video called “The Innocence of Muslims’ which hasn’t even been released yet. Only two, two-minute trailers of the movie exist on YouTube.

The administration said that the attacks were in response to a video. However, the president of Libya says the video had “nothing to do” with the attacks.

Shocked Yet? The very president of Libya said that the video had nothing to do with the attack.

Obama said that he knew it was a terrorist attack the very next day. New CIA evidence seems to support that theory:

http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-202_162-57535773/cia-saw-possible-terror-ties-day-after-libya-hit-ap/

“The CIA station chief in Libya reported to Washington within 24 hours of last month’s deadly attack on the U.S. Consulate that there was evidence it was carried out by militants, not a spontaneous mob upset about an American-made video ridiculing Islam’s Prophet Muhammad, U.S. officials have told The Associated Press.”

This is a great final ad:

I think that after tonight I am more energized about this election than ever. This isn’t an election about two men. This isn’t an election about two parties. This is an election about the future of our nation. President Obama and the Democrats have a fundamental idea that government will be the solution. They think that government can outperform the private sector. I do not. I believe that the private sector, small business , and the individual will always outperform government. Gov. Mitt Romney and Rep. Paul Ryan think that too.

Many people ask me why I care about these things. I’ll answer it plainly. I care because it affects me. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but the policies of this administration are going to affect all of us in the long term. As of now, 1 in 2 college graduates doesn’t have a job. 23 million Americans are out of work, the largest tax increases in history are coming in 2013, our nation is 16 trillion in debt (the most in debt country in the world), and the president says, “we tried our plan, and it worked”. Their plan has not worked, and my generation is going to foot the bill.

We are at a crossroads. We are faced with two paths for America. One path is the government approach. An approach which will leave us in debt and under a huge oppressive government, the path of the Democrats. The other path is the path of individual liberty. The path that has the audacity to think that people are better than government. Small business and American ingenuity will also win against big government, the Republican path.

I know I’m young to care, but the policies of this administration affect us, the youth of America. That is why on November 6th, I implore you to either vote or get people out to vote. In November, we need to elect someone who can help the individual succeed, not big government. On November 6th, I ask you to vote for Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan. Thank you.

I’m a little busy, but here’s just a few sources for your liberal friends:

http://www.atr.org/days-taxmageddon-a7203:

“-The 10% bracket rises to a new and expanded 15%

-The 25% bracket rises to 28%

-The 28% bracket rises to 31%

-The 33% bracket rises to 36%

-The 35% bracket rises to 39.6%”

“The capital gains tax will rise from 15 percent this year to 23.8 percent in 2013.”

“The death tax is currently 35% with an exemption of $5 million ($10 million for married couples). For those dying on or after January 1 2013, there is a 55 percent top death tax rate on estates over $1 million”

http://www.forbes.com/sites/greggfisher/2012/07/20/start-planning-for-higher-taxes/:

“”A 3.8% surtax will be levied on net investment income for individuals with adjusted gross income (AGI) above $200,000 and married couples filing jointly with AGI above $250,000. For 97% of all households–individuals whose current taxable income falls below $200,000, or couples with a joint income below $250,000–the tax is irrelevant; it only applies to persons above those income thresholds. (Note, however, that the tax also applies to trusts, with a much lower threshold.)

A new 0.9% Medicare tax will apply on earned income above $200,000 for individuals and $250,000 for married couples filing jointly

The floor beneath itemized medical expense deductions will rise from 7.5% of AGI to 10% of AGI (for people over the age of 65, this change won’t kick in until 2017).

Allowable contributions to health flexible spending accounts will be capped at $2,500 per year.”

“This 2.3 percent tax on medical device makers will raise the price of (for example) every pacemaker, prosthetic limb, stent, and operating table.”

http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052702304743704577382371561326132.html:

“Unfortunately, we face that real prospect, as prominent proposals by the administration would triple the top dividend tax rate to nearly 45%, while doubling the top rate on capital gains to 30%. If one intended to cripple job creation, depress stock prices, and lower the value of retirement savings for working Americans, these proposals would be just what we should choose.

As taxmageddon looms, let’s hope we choose wisely.

No folks this is not photoshopped. One would hope so, but sadly this is our President yesterday. Thanks to the Drudge Report for picking this up.

Our Ambassador to Libya was murdered and dragged through the streets. Three other innocents were murdered with him. The Middle East is in flames and anti-American protests spread across the globe while Obama and his Administration has been blaming a movie. The Iranians are in Syria to buy chemical weapons. A Chinese general is telling his country to prepare for war with Japan. The Iranians are rushing toward a nuclear bomb and making promises to wipe Israel off the map. The economy is still cratering and the unemployed numbers are growing. Obamacare is now estimated to add at least 80 million hours in compliance to small business costs amounting to some 1.8 trillion dollars sucked out of the private sector. Yes that is 1.8 trillion! With a “T”. http://washingtonexaminer.com/1.8-trillion-shock-obama-regs-cost-20-times-estimate/article/2508466#.UFsxDiLFqPK

In response, Obama slept through the period Ambassador Stevens was murdered. He missed 50% of his intelligence briefings including the one where Libya said there was a threat to the Embassy in Libya but no Marines were sent, ignored the threat to the Egyptian Embassy , and insured the Marine guards there have NO ammo for their guns. Then, he flew to Vegas for a fund-raiser, blamed the movie, went on Letterman, danced with Jay Z and Beyonce for money ( two useless people in the history of our country). To top it off, he meets with a guy for “Pirate Day” in the White House , but tells Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel , he is too busy to discuss the war ready to explode with Iran.

Meanwhile, the mainstream media no longer has a journalist of any repute left to ask a cogent question regarding these actions or the fact our President is caught on tape praising redistribution and collectivism. http://www.wnd.com/2012/09/obama-calls-for-democracy-with-a-small-d/ Instead they allow all of this to occur with nary a thought while they pound a guy who is NOT the President about the fact that 47% of the population pays zero federal taxes, which is factually correct. We have people like Peggy Noonan and William Kristol castigating Romney rather than helping defeat the fool in the White House. Moderates. Ignore them.

All of that said, how a voter can support Obama is beyond rational thought. Obama is trying to remake the United States into Socialist country. He truly believes in redistribution. He believes in taking from those who produce and raining his own largesse on those who do not. ( Using our money of course.) Obama will rob us blind if he is re-elected. He is truly the Pirate King!

However, sometimes I just find a good video I like and I don’t make much commentary. I’m not writing a lot because I don’t think the ad needs any further explanation. I agree with the video. But, if you have any comments or concerns, I will be happy to clarify anything.

“He’s made his choice, but what choices will women be left with? Just like Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan would get rid of planned parenthood funding. In congress, Ryan voted to ban all funding for Planned Parenthood and allow employers to deny women access to cancer screenings and birth control and both Romney and Ryan back proposals to outlaw abortion even in cases of rape and incest. For women for president, the choices ours.”

I’ve decided to take the blog into campaign mode. Here at The Bader Nation, we try to focus on the important political and normal stories in the news today. However, since the single largest important political happenings in the next few months are the elections for all levels, I decided it was important to make sure the fallacies that the Obama administration comes out with in their advertisements should be exposed.

We now have the latest Obama for America ad. We’ll take each line and debunk it:

“He’s made his choice, but what choices will women be left with?”

I do not have much to say here.

“Just like Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan would get rid of planned parenthood funding.”

Okay, the problem is what exactly? An organization which promotes abortion, the murdering of a child, over living and is the largest abortion provider in the nation? You mean that organization? Frankly, abortion is murder. That’s a fact. I don’t care what else Planned Parenthood does. If you’re offering murder under your services, I don’t want you taking my taxpayer money!

Also, the fact Paul Ryan voted for defunding Planned Parenthood doesn’t just show that he is for saving life, but that he and his district is! You see, as you know, our Republic elects officials which represent OUR values; the electorate. So, the people who voted in Paul Ryan knew that they and he were against the murder of children, abortion, and as such, they elected Paul Ryan. The people of his district and Ryan himself think abortion is wrong.

Furthermore, I understand that PP (Planned Parenthood) provides other services, but when a company operates with MY money, that company better abide by MY values. Thus, if Planned Parenthood provides abortions, defund them, period.

“In congress, Ryan voted to ban all funding for Planned Parenthood”

See previous comment above.

“and allow employers to deny women access to cancer screenings and birth control”

This. This, this is a classic example of how progressives try to paint Romney and Ryan as people who just want to make all the women just die. However, this statement isn’t about Planned Parenthood. This is about the HHS mandate and Obamacare. They are pulling out the birth control card…AGAIN. The Obama campaign thinks that the HHS mandate is helping people because it FORCES employers to provide abortions, contraceptives, and abortifacients. Truth is, while this sounds like a good thing, “birth control and abortion free from employers to help women!” and it’s been touted in the Democrat party as a victory for women, it’s a crushing blow to religious freedom. If you are an employer, you now HAVE TO provide these things, abortions and birth control. Even if you think it’s wrong, even if you are a Catholic and you can’t pay for an abortion because it goes against your conscience, you HAVE TO.

So, in this ad, the Obama campaign is trying to make people hate Romney and Ryan for…protecting religious freedom? Really?! Truth is women, birth control can be purchased at the dollar store. Also, you shouldn’t make someone, who thinks it’s wrong to murder, murder your child. It’s just wrong. Obama is painting this as an attack on women, but Obama has led the attack on ending religious freedom. Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan are just trying to protect life and religious freedom.

Lastly, people are saying that Conservatives need to “stay out of the bedroom” because interfering in their getting abortions and birth control is trying to “control” a women and what she can do with her body. Truth is, the Constitution said we have a right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Are you giving employers religious liberty when you ask them to kill your baby with their money? NO. Are you giving your child the right to life when you murder it in an abortion and demand a taxpayer pay for it? NO. If you want taxpayers out of your womb, get out of our wallets. Also, stop asking people to break their religious liberties. Thank you.

“Romney and Ryan back proposals to outlaw abortion even in cases of rape and incest.”

Outlawing abortion is bad because? Why? How is it wrong to ask you not to KILL your child? How is it bad to ask you honor our Constitution? How is it bad for you to honor the right to life? It isn’t.

Also, I understand rape and incest are terrible, terrible things. However, that’s no excuse to kill someone else. Please, please have your baby. If you don’t want it after it’s born, give it up for adoption, but don’t kill your baby. There are many couples who want a baby. Make someone else’s life happy before you take a life instead.

“For women for president, the choice is ours.”

Yes, the choice is clear:

If you want a president who thinks the murder of millions of children (more than the holocaust at this point) is okay, and a president who makes business owners violate their own moral code, and a president who has seen 780,000 more women unemployed than when Obama entered office, then Barack Obama is your man.

If you want a president who thinks the murder of millions of children is morally wrong, and who thinks that not only did small business owners build their business, but that they should have the religious freedom to not provide abortion, and who knows how to run a business (because he has had private sector job experience), and can turn the country around economically, Mitt Romney is your man.

“Mitt Romney on how to pay for college and start a business; ‘Take a risk, get an education, borrow money from your parents if you have to’ Parents: Hope they can afford it”

Obama is yet again trying to show that everyone needs to reliant on the government. No! Don’t work your way through college, don’t try to do it yourself, or ask someone for money! Just let Big Brother take care of you!

No, Mr. Obama, I am sick of hearing how we must rely on the government for everything. I mean what is so bad about trying to work through college? trying to do it on your own? or even asking your parents for money? Nothing. They are honorable ways to get an education, and Obama is claiming it’s bad.

“Parents: Hope they can afford it” WAIT! I thought since Obama passed the “Stimulus” and did his “reforms” the country was supposed to be in great shape! What happened???

Oh that’s right. His policies have failed. It’s time for new leadership.

As I’m sure you saw in The Bader Nation’s last article, President Obama has cut 700 Billion from Medicare, and both Obama and Deputy Campaign Manger Stephanie Cutter admitted they cut that money from medicare. However, the Obama campaign is putting out more lies.

0:07 ”Now Mitt Romney is attacking President Obama on….Medicare?”

First seven seconds and something is wrong. No actually, the Obama campaign and the Democrats criticized Paul Ryan’s plan for Medicare claiming that it was going to kill the elderly (Wrong, but this can be discussed in a later post). So, Mitt Romney is fighting back, not attacking.

0:08 “Non-partisan AARP”

Yes, because a group that lobbies for Democrat legislation and is notorious for its left leaning views is “non-partisan”. Ha. That’s funny.

0:14

How can you strengthen benefits when you cut 700 billion from a program? You can’t. You might be able to increase the benefits in Obamacare though.

Not to mention, didn’t the DNC claim that “Obamacare” was a rude term and it shouldn’t be used? Oh well,

0:22 “would undermine the market power of Medicare and could lead to higher cost for seniors.”

WRONG.

First, the Heritage Foundation had a wonderful piece this morning about Obama ending Medicare as we know it. You can find it here and another one here.

Second, we must discuss the Paul Ryan plan. As you may know, Medicare is broke. There is no more money. This is well-known fact. So, Paul Ryan created a plan that says if you are 55 and older you will keep your exact same medicare. If you are under the age of 55, you have the option to keep your medicare or switch to private insurance. You know, so you don’t have to be in a program that’s broke.

Knowing this, this statement changes a little bit. Firstly, the Obama campaign is selectively highlighting. The whole statement is “would undermine THE MARKET POWER of Medicare and could lead to higher cost for seniors.” Notice how the Obama ad left out “the market power”. Truth is, that makes sense. You see, if you have people who logically decided that they want private insurance rather than Medicare, they leave Medicare. When they leave Medicare, Medicare has fewer people and thus loses some MARKET POWER to other insurance companies. Also, if seniors WANT to opt out of Medicare, they ARE ABLE to pick whatever insurance they want which COULD lead to higher premiums, but not necessarily. Truth is, this quote is a bunch of smoke, but doesn’t mean much. It’s just a threat to scare seniors.

The Obama campaign is once AGAIN caught lying in the act. Let’s vote them out.

You paid into Medicare all your life, and when you need it, the money isn’t going to be there. This Romney ad tells people about how the Obama administration cut 716 BILLION from Medicare for what you ask? Obamacare: yet another failure of a government program. An Obama retort ad (which I will show in the next post) claims that Romney’s claim that Obama took billions from Medicare is false. However, history shows that Obama wanted to cut Medicare to pay for Obamacare. Not to mention that OHH RIGHT! Obama’s Deputy Campaign Manager Stephanie Cutter said that, in fact, the Obama administration HAD cut Medicare.

YES! You did hear that right. While the Obama campaign is squawking about how Mitt Romney’s ad is false, the DEPUTY CAMPAIGN MANAGER said that they cut 700 BILLION from Medicare.

In fact, from an article from Town Hall, Obama admitted that:

TAPPER: “One of the concerns about health care and how you pay for it — one third of the funding comes from cuts to Medicare.”

BARACK OBAMA: “Right.”

TAPPER: “A lot of times, as you know, what happens in Congress is somebody will do something bold and then Congress, close to election season, will undo it.”

OBAMA: “Right.”

TAPPER: “You saw that with the ‘doc fix’.”

OBAMA: “Right.”

TAPPER: “Are you willing to pledge that whatever cuts in Medicare are being made to fund health insurance, one third of it, that you will veto anything that tries to undo that?”

OBAMA: “Yes. I actually have said that it is important for us to make sure this thing is deficit neutral, without tricks. I said I wouldn’t sign a bill that didn’t meet that criteria.”

So, not only have Obama surrogates said the president is cutting medicare, but Obama himself has! Yet, the media refuses to notice that these Obama attacks are false.

Recently the Obama administration gave waivers to states that stated those on welfare would not have to train for a job or even appear to be looking for a job, but that they would simply just receive their welfare check in the mail. Problem is, that’s true. That’s what happened. Obama has a long history of opposing work requirement. Here is the Romney ad:

Frankly, I think Work for Welfare makes a lot of sense. Why should the government give someone money if that person isn’t looking or training for a job? It simply doesn’t make sense at all.

In fact, some say that this giving out of waivers is illegal. Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich says so.

According to Newsmax:

“Section 407 is the key. It says no one, not the president, the Secretary of Health and Human Services, the governors, no one can waive the work requirement. And we wrote it that strongly because we so deeply distrusted the liberals who run many of the social welfare programs and thought they would in fact absolutely be in favor of waiving the requirements.”

We now see the president is clearly breaking the law. Yet, nothing is being said. We need a new direction. We need a new president.
