Liberal Fairness: Top 10 % of Taxpayers…Way 254 to Drive a Liberal Crazy

I had just read my daily email from Human Events called “365 Ways to Drive a Liberal Crazy by James Delingpole”. Today it said:
The idea of liberal “fairness” has always baffled me. They continuously talk about how we need to be a fair nation, and have fair wages, fair work, fair this and fair that. However their idea of fairness for tax rates is insane. They continually say we need to tax the rich. It’s basically their slogan. It can even be seen in a video by Van Jone’s Rebuild the Dream. At the 0:48 second mark, they say
Return to fairer tax rates. If the rich don’t pay their taxes, we’ll have to! So, end the bush tax cuts for the rich, and add new tax brackets for people making more than 1 million dollars.
Though the video was a bit of a non sequitur, it proves that Democrats want to tax the rich. I don’t know why they think taxing the people who create jobs is a good idea, but they do. All Democrats do is say, “tax the rich”. However, take a look at the “Ways to Annoy a Liberal” that I got this morning:
The top five percent of Americans pay for 60 percent of government’s revenue, and the top ten percent pays 75% of government revenue. So, only 2/5ths make up the rest. So essentially, Van Jones wishes for the rich to pay all of the taxes. Does anyone else think that having the top 5% pay for everything is insane??? I mean, they create the jobs. This is yet another example of the left’s insanity.
As you can see, half of the U.S. population doesn’t pay taxes. Now, it starts to make sense why so many people like Barack Obama. There not paying any taxes! In fact, the 2012 election might be the first election where non-taxpaying voters outnumber taxpaying voters. How, as a liberal, can you say you stand for fairness when half of your population doesn’t pay taxes? You can’t liberals are just hypocrites, and they’ll never change.
In conclusion, @sunshineejc talked about the top 1% taking home 23% Total National income. Here is a shocker; if you pay more into something, you get more out. It’s not exactly a hard concept, but Democrats will never get it. Today, please try to talk some sense into a liberal….if you can.
