Headline of the Day: Rabid Beavers on Rampage in Philly

In Pennypack Park in Northeast Philadelphia, there just happens to be a biting, rabid beaver! The animal has bitten three people, but on Friday, the rabid beaver was captured and tested positive for rabies.
Game Commission Officer Jerry Czech gave a description of one of the incidents: “(The beaver) kind of went underwater and came up.” “The wife started screaming and the husband looked over and saw the beaver biting on her leg.
Nevertheless after an autopsy, the beaver was confirmed to have rabies.
