Obama and Jesus Ranked Equal as Teen Role Models
The study was based on a nationwide online survey of 602 teens.
At a post at Christian Post, it told of a study by the Barna Group that was released on Monday. The first 3-4 paragraphs are the percents. Here they are (via the article):
37 percent: grandparent, sibling, cousin, aunt or uncle
11 percent: teachers and coaches
9 percent: Friends
6 percent: pastors/religious leaders
At least 6 percent: entertainers
1 percent: science or medical professionals
5 percent: sports heroes
4 percent: political leaders
4 percent: faith leaders
and finally it said, quote:
President Obama and Jesus Christ were commonly named as teen role models, each receiving 3 percent of the votes. Teenagers looked up to Obama for his hard work and self-confidence. Jesus resonated among teens because of his concern for others and being an example to follow.
May I just say, “Obama for his hard work and self-confidence.” I would like to ask, hard work? In any manor, he might be working, but in the complete wrong direction.
However, no matter which way the polls turned out, it shows a shocking realization. The first should be that Jesus only got 3 percent, out of 602 teens. That is not a lot of people who said Jesus. The second is that because of the liberal intentions of the education system, children are taught how great Obama is, when he is not. If there is one thing you get from this survay, it should be to watch what your kids think. Ask them about certain political things to make sure they are on the right track. They should be so far to the right, the government calls them a right-wing extremist, as the government calls me. Make sure you teach your children to think like a conservative. There is a time when they need to think of what they want for themselves, but keep in mind, they are the next generation. If you forget about us, you are forgetting about the future of the country, and I like my country, and I intend to keep it.
