Obama goes on Mythbusters

The president will make a special guess appearance on the Discovery show Mythbusters:
President Obama is supposedly doing this to promote improvement of student scores in science and math. The question is on how the American people will react. Will they hate it or love it?
His appearance makes sense, but I think it is unnecessary. I believe the President could be doing better things than going on a TV show. Plus, it is just more publicity for Mythbusters.
